Cargle Luxury Homes

Cargle Luxury Homes began with my parents, Frank Sr. & Helen Conley Cargle’s drive and determination to help others realize their dream of home ownership.

On July 3, 1949, Frank Edward Cargle married his childhood sweetheart Helen Conley. The couple migrated to Michigan and began their lives together as the Post-War automotive boom unfolded. They cultivated deep roots, supporting dozens of organizations, and contributing to civic life on every level.

The couple founded Cargle Realty Company as natural extension of Helen’s family tradition of property ownership dating back in the middle 1800’s when the Conley Brothers were builders of barns, farms and stables as the newly established America stretched westward.

Frank & Helen delved into real estate in the Great Lakes region from residential and commercial sales, to small scale retail development. They even managed to meld their cultural engagement with their zest for real estate by helping family friend Dr. Charles H. Wright purchase a home to display his eclectic collection American memorabilia into the original Charles H. Wright Museum. But, their true passion was majestic and tranquil beauty Michigan’s western coastline from Traverse City down to Manistee National Forest.

It is with this 70-year history of real estate in Michigan, that their son Frank Cargle Jr. remains proudly committed to serving our original markets — the greater Detroit Metropolitan Area, the western Michigan resort area, and Lake Michigan shoreline of Illinois and Wisconsin. But we’re growing, too, bringing our name and values to new markets across the country, and, soon, around the world.
